Engineers of the Future

Since 2011 Russian Engineering Union with the support of the State Corporation «Rostec» has been holding the annual International Youth Industrial Forum «Engineers of the Future».

More than 17.000 young specialists from Russia, the CIS countries and from abroad have participated in it since it was first organized. The geographical reach of international participation is presented by 97 countries. The Forum was attended by young engineers and researchers from more than 750 industrial companies, as well as students and post-graduates of 94 universities from 70 regions of the Russian Federation. The age of participants is 20-35 years.

The main part of the Forum consists of an educational block, a diverse business program, fascinating excursions, as well as various entertainment and sports events.

The educational block is formed from corporate universities and enterprises’ programs. It consists of more than 60 Russian companies and leading Russian technical universities.

The speakers of educational and business program are the heads and top managers of the main domestic and foreign companies, top managers of their Russian representative offices, prominent scientists, public figures of Russia, professors of leading Russian and foreign technical universities, heads of federal and regional executive authorities of Russian Federation.

Evidence of the significance and importance of the Forum: increased activity of young specialists at their enterprises; support by companies’ management innovative projects, quite a number of which has already been implemented in production. Young specialists who proved themselves in the framework of the Forums are included in the Expert Councils of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship and also in the work of specialized committees and commissions of Russian Engineering Union.
